New Year, New Horizons

Welcome to the first designletter edition of 2025! This marks nearly a decade of sharing my journey on the internet and almost four years of writing this weekly newsletter. I’m thrilled to have you here. If you’re new, welcome! For those who've been around for a while, thank you for sticking with me.

Let me start with my little introduction - I'm Vijay Verma (or realvjy on the internet). I'm from a small town in North India, and I'm basically a self-taught designer who loves to code. Although I don’t have a traditional art education, I do have a master’s degree in computer science, which is why I know how to code. I taught myself most of the things by watching a lot of tutorial videos and trying everything until I succeeded. These days, I work from my studio helping brands with their visuals and design systems, but mostly I just love experimenting and building cool stuff.

As this year begins, like everyone else, I have some goals and resolutions. I'm super excited to dive deeper into 3D and coding more. I've actually been quietly working on game development for about two years now, and I think I'm finally ready to share some of that work and learning with you all.
